Description: Swanage Pier have immense pleasure in announcing a series of five talks about the wildlife, geology, and coastal history around the Purbeck Coast. Thanks to the Victorian entrepreneurs, George Burt and John Mowlem, Swanage has a unique collection of ephemera from London. The talk will look at the history of these objects and how they got to Swanage. After the talk you are guaranteed to view our lovely town with new eyes! Lasting approximately 40 minutes and there will be the facility to ask questions. Talks will be done via an online platform, of which details will be sent a week before the event.
