Description: A chance to see original works by local artists. Many artists also have prints and cards available. Admission free - tea/coffee and cakes available . Wareham Art Club was founded in 1991 to give local artists a place to meet and exchange ideas. We are a friendly group of people of all ages and abilities who enjoy painting and drawing. We meet in Wareham Parish Hall most Monday evenings and Tuesday mornings throughout the year. The accent is on people getting together and enjoying art and painting. We socialise and produce our own work, learn from demonstrations by visiting artists once a month, and hold still life evenings once every couple of months. There are three exhibitions a year in Wareham Town Hall, one day in March, two days in July and one day in November. We welcome new members – see our website. Please let us know you saw us on What's On in Dorset!
