Discover the fascinating story behind the ‘last piece of the puzzle’ for the RSPB Arne peninsular.
Join our reserve guides for a walk on the history of the newly acquired Hyde's Heath, a former family owned pine forest plantation. We'll be looking at some of the unique history of this part of Arne, as well the future it will have as it regenerates into lowland heathland.
On our way round we may also be lucky enough to see some heathland specialists such as the woodlark and Dartford warbler!
We will finish up our walk at 11:30am with tea or filter coffee in the RSPB Arne café, which is included in the price.
