Description: THE WEST COUNTRY'S BARMIEST FETE IS BACK!
Chettle Fete returns for another afternoon of hilarity on Saturday 13th July! Come and discover why this highly original fete is now becoming Dorset's favourite - is it the sherry-swilling Brigadier's Dog Show commentary? Perhaps it's the bonkers alternative beauty pageant, Big Hairy Miss Chettle? Is it the mini-motorbike jousting? Maybe you should ask Madam Zapple to reveal all in the Wagon of Destiny...
With all the usual crazy fete shenanigans (cowpat bingo, The Human Fruit Machine, delicious cream teas, bric-a-brac, plants and cakes, the famous Art Auction and loads more), Chettle boasts a huge selection of quality food and drink, loads of kids activities including craft stalls and bouncy play area plus the chance to win some truly stupendpous prizes including festival passes, tickets to major concerts and events, posh hotel stays and romantic dinners out.
Without doubt Chettle Fete is absolutely THE fete of the season!
12pm till late, free entry, plenty parking, disabled toilets and access, medical team
