Description: Music for the passion and mystery of Easter. Join Bournemouth Sinfonietta Choir in a programme of music for the days leading up to Easter particularly suited to the acoustic and ambience of Milton Abbey. During the service of Tenebrae on Good Friday the candles in the church are gradually extinguished one by one. Composers through the ages have written intense and moving works for the services of Holy Week. Our performance this evening includes Allegri's celebrated setting of the Miserere and some of Victoria's Tenebrae Responses.
