Description: Gillingham train station is the gateway to Hardy's Blackmore Vale, a land of gentle countryside and farming.
Meet enthusiastic local experts and walkers on our friendly festival walks and at "fringe events" A varied programme of over 20 walks includes farm visits, wildlife, local history, geocaching, walking in faith, Nordic walking and more.
Looking for a gentle stroll? - our shortest walk is just half a mile.
Looking for an all day hike? - the Wincanton Challenge is over 20 miles.
We have an excellent team of walk leaders ready to lead again in 2019.
Fringe events include a supper quiz, film at our community cinema and live music and "Hidden Pizza" on the Town Meadow.
